Some servers will send our emails to spam so don’t forget to add our contact details to ‘known senders’ so our replies don’t get lost in cyberspace!
Send us the best file you have. Vectors are always preferred (AI, EPS, CDR, PDF ). If sending rasterized images (psd, jpeg, png, tif) try to get them in 300 dpi. If you need help with artwork don’t kill yourself over it. You can always just send us what you have for a free no obligation quote on what it would cost us to recreate it for you.
Our regular turnaround time is 10 – 14 days from proof approval.
Depending on our workload, we can normally offer an express service if you need your shirts printed urgently.
Please note that these times are a guide only, we often beat these times. We are always honest with our customers before we take on an order if the deadline cannot be met.
Digital printing offers no minimums or setup fees. Soft water-based inks let you print full-colour art onto most apparel.
When you design online using our t-shirt designer, the printing method will be Digital Printing.
Screen printing is the old school way of printing t-shirts. It’s still the king for large runs and/or when you need the very best print quality and durability. For Screen Printing, please get in touch so we can quote you accurately.
We have different methods of printing that can be done cost effectively with low minimums. Our usual minimum quantity is 15 pieces of the same print, however, this is reviewed on a case by case basis. Contact us with your job details and we will be able to help.
Digitally printed shirts can be expected to wear over time, due to the nature of the soft and natural water-based inks. There are ways to prolong the life of your custom print. We suggest the following care instructions:
- Machine wash cold (or hand wash)Gentle cycle only with mild detergents
- Do not bleach
- No fabric softener
- Do not dry clean
- Hang dry or tumble dry on very low settings.
- Screen Printed shirts are more durable, but care should still be taken
Our business model is based on supplying and printing garments. We do not usually allow customers supply their own materials as we have an extensive range of blank garments/promotional products and items we can source suitable to print on.
While we understand you might have t-shirts or garments on hand that you want to use for printing, we prefer to print onto garments we supply to ensure there will be no printing or curing issues at time of production.
- In the event that we cannot source a particular garment/product, any customer supplied items are done so at your own risk.
- Squid Ink Screenprinting are not responsible for any print inconsistencies, defects, curing issues etc on customer supplied materials.
- Customer supplied materials will incur a surcharge.
Each job requires screens to be made especially for your order. We will keep your screens up for a maximum of 4 months. If your screen has not been used and the job hasn’t been reprinted within 4 months, it will be stripped and you will be required to pay another setup fee when you reorder.
All orders must be paid in full prior to production. If you are ordering in bulk, you’ll receive an invoice which has a payment gateway for credit cards. We also accept bank deposit.
If you are purchasing a custom design via our website, you will be able to follow the prompts and pay via the secure Shopping Cart.
Online orders will be shipped via courier.
If you need us to ship your bulk order to you, we’ll book a courier and the shipping fee will be invoiced to you.
If you have an account with a courier we are happy for you to send us the booking details with a consignment note and we will have the items ready to be collected.
Yes, we do. Rush orders will incur a fee.
